I Told You So

First of all, let me apologize for it being so long between posts. A lot has been happening in my PEZ world in the last months.

Vindication feels good. Climate change discussion has largely fallen off the radar of most Americans. With Americans worried about the economy, dealing with a new president (who is trying to change the fundamentals of our great nation), and disastrous health care legislation being rushed through congress, the idea of costly climate reform has been put on the back burner.

Some clever hackers decided it would be fun to hack into the files of the University of East Anglia, a climate research center that works with the IPCC. Many of the documents and emails obtained by the hackers show the lengths these organizations will go to emphasize mans impact on the climate.

Their sins include data manipulation and massaging and scheming to shut down and discredit dissenters. Now, leading politicians in both the US and the UK has called for an investigation into “Climate Gate”.

The timing could not be any better either considering that the industrial nations are planning to meet in Copenhagen to discuss climate change goals.
