Good-Bye Wachovia (Wacrapia)
They’ve pushed my buttons one too many times. In the past they have messed up some of my bill pays. They screwed up my overdraft protection account. They have been rather unhelpful in many cases where I have tried to get things fixed.
So what is the straw that has broken the camel’s back? It started with a strange $5.95 monthly fee that showed up last month. After three phone calls it turns out that this fee is a monthly access fee for my computer (Microsoft Money) to access their system. No warning. Just a new fee. The ironic thing about it is that if I were to log in to my online account and download the MS Money data manually I would not be charged this amount.
I realize what a pain in the ass it is to change banks but I don’t care. We’re through Wachovia. Back to Bank of America we go.
