NASA Administrator Discusses Global Warming

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

NASA administrator Michael Griffin made some comments during an NPR interview that I think are spot on regarding global warming. His comments are causing quite a stir amongst the many pro-global warming scientists employed by NASA. This is what he said

I have no doubt that a trend of global warming exists. I am not sure that it is fair to say that it is a problem we must wrestle with.

To assume that it is a problem is to assume that the state of Earth’s climate today is the optimal climate, the best climate that we could have or ever have had and that we need to take steps to make sure that it doesn’t change. I guess I would ask which human beings — where and when — are to be accorded the privilege of deciding that this particular climate that we have right here today, right now is the best climate for all other human beings. I think that’s a rather arrogant position for people to take.

This line of thinking is in line with my own thoughts. Are we so proud as a people that we think we have enough power to change the plan and will of God? Things will happen as He chooses and I find rest in that assurance.

My Ebay Experience

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

Well there isn’t much worth writing about these days. Global warming is becoming less of an issue, Rosie O’Donnell still needs to shut her mouth, and Donald Trump’s hair still scares me. So….

I know I am like 8 years behind here, but I just put up my first item for sale on ebay. Sure, I have bought lots of times but I’ve never sold. It is kinda making me nervous. Anyways, I’ll update this post as the 5 day action goes on and we’ll see how it works out.

If any of you are interested in buying a pristine digital camera the auction is here.

UPDATE: Well I got to the four day mark with no bids. I was a little worried there. Then I get one bid which was for my minimum amount. I’d be ok with it selling at the price but I really am looking for a little more. I’ve gotten a couple of questions emailed to me. People were basically asking if everything is as I said it was (and it is). I got a couple ebay spammers (annoying) which I promptly deleted.

Now with a little less than 2 and a half hours remaining the item was bid on again. I’m hoping for a bidding war in the last 30 minutes. LETS DRIVE THE PRICE UP PEOPLE!!!

UPDATE 2:
Well I wanted a bidding war…it wasn’t crazy but I am very pleased with the results. The auction closed at a value almost double the original asking price. A lot happened within the last 10 minutes so that was fun.

Now, If only the payment/shipping go smoothly…keep your fingers crossed!

Sorry mom…

UPDATE 3: Well its been 36 hours from the end of the auction and I haven’t heard from the auction winner or received payment. I’ll give it another day…

UPDATE 4: Item was paid for and shipped. Not a bad experience altogether…

The tide is turning…

I think that finally some people are starting to get. This report shares with us a list of prominent scientists who are changing their minds on man-made global warming.

The hype can only last for so long. The shoddy construction of this rickety chicken shack that is man-made global warming is staring to collapse form the inside. This is great news!! Spread the wrod!!
